Most weight loss programmes fail not through loss of weight but because of failure to maintain the diet over the long term.

My long term friend Rodney Swansborough firmly believes that two things are absolutely essential to maintain weight loss. They are:

1. The diet is for life; and

On of the best tools for daily monitoring that I have discovered is an app called MyFitnessPal. The app is extraordinary and will give you the necessary feedback you need to maintain your desired weight. You set your own goals and it shows you how to get there. It is brilliant.
